HitchHikerWorking as an independent software house since 1992, Hitchhiker has been developing tariff management software solutions for airlines and consolidators under the name of visualFares. This includes solutions to enter net tariffs in a separate database, export these net tariffs to a GDS and finally the automated ticketing process for paper and etickets. In addition, HitchHiker also offers hosting services („TeMyra.net“), front and back-end solutions including Internet-booking machines for all types of bookable flights such as scheduled flights, charter flights and low cost carriers as well as net fares and nego fares. With its headquarters in Frankfurt on the Main, HitchHiker has a total of 55 employees; the Managing Directors are Nicole Hoeckle and Thomas Boffo. ATPCOATPCO is specialized in the collection and distribution of airline fare and fare related data. This information is collected from more than 500 airlines and distributed to global distribution systems (GDS) (such as Amadeus/System One, Galileo International, Sabre, Worldspan) and computer reservation systems (CRS). ATPCO creates efficiencies in this process by permitting each airline to submit its information via ATPCO, thereby giving each CRS/GDS the opportunity for a single source of fare-related data.
